Better late than never! A family blog post sharing our thoughts about plastic free July, and being more mindful generally about our use of single use plastic. Plastic was created as a means of making life easy; because it can be used and then discarded. Sounded like a good idea right?
..there is also a movement towards greater transparency within the clothing chain, and a demand for fashion to be produced in a more ethical way. In response to this tragedy, Fashion Revolution was started, it exists to ensure that no tragedy of this magnitude will ever take place again.
The one thing that we can all do, even in isolation is to use our voices to demand a new way forward. Start conversations, raise awareness, share your thoughts and get involved. I thought I would take this opportunity to share some easy ideas for celebrating Earth Day and showing planet Earth that we love her.
